V. World Dance Festival – Budapest
WORLD DANCE FESTIVAL 29-30. August 2015 – Bálna Budapest Event Centre
In 2010, sitting with our friends who love and support dancing, we were discussing that Budapest would deserve a considerable dance festival in the field of standard and fashion dance. For this reason, we organized a tremendous, four-day-long festival in cooperation with the Hungarian Fashion and Sport Dance Organization, the Hungarian Dance Sport Professional Association and the International Dance Organization. More than 600 contestants from 16 countries stepped on the dance floor in order to compete for the World and Europe Championship Titles in the dance arena.
In the last 5 years our competition has been visited by circa 2000 contestants. In 2015 we are awaiting our guests and the most prominent dancers of the international scene with WDSF World Open Latin and Open Standard Competition. The Bálna Budapest Event Centre as the venue of the competition is worthy of the best competitors of the world. At the last weekend of summer once again we are celebrating dancers on a sensational festival in Budapest.
Our program won ‘THE BEST SPORT EVENT OF THE YEAR’ title in 2013.
The patron of the World Dance Festival in 2015 is Miklós Seszták Dr., minister for national development.
